Sorrento Film & Food Festival 2024” took place from 1 to 6 January. The event combined Italian and international cinematographic culture and the food and wine excellences of one of the most popular tourist destinations in Southern Italy: the Sorrento Peninsula.
The event, promoted by the non-profit association "the Artists Club Italia" was chaired by the American actor Daniel McVicar and enjoyed the support of the City of Sorrento and the patronage of the Metropolitan city of Naples and the Parliamentary Assembly of Mediterranean.
Screenings of works that combine cinematographic art and food and wine, together with works created by international filmmakers who arrived at the new Sorrento Festival through the competition announcement published on the digital platform Filmfreeway.com.
27 free event screenings at the Cinema Armida in Sorrento (1,600 seater room) for a vast population made up of the many tourists who have come to the Sorrento peninsula for holidays and young locals and from the neighboring towns of the Gulf of Naples and the Gulf of Salerno .
